New Era Languages is a complete vocabulary tool designed for those who want to learn foreign languages. This software tool provides support, exercises and lessons for 7 languages, such as : Afrikaans, Chinese, French, English, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
Level I Basic conversational vocabulary of some 500 words.
Level II Basic conversational vocabulary of an additional 500 words.
On completion of Levels I and II the student has an active vocabulary of 1000 words and is capable of understanding everyday conversations and of making himself understood, using their tenses correctly.
Level III Enlarges the active vocabulary by 1000 words and enables the student to relate experiences and discuss a wide variety of topics, creating practical day to day situations.
Level IV The students vocabulary is extended by 900 words. This is achieved by use of sound tracks from movies which cover a wide variety of subjects and topics such as Politics, science, business, crime, education, geography, sport and psychology.
Level V About 600 new words and expressions needed for conversations concerning business and technical matters.
Level VI An additional 600 words and expressions needed to extend the business and technical expertise of the student.
